K and Co alpha stamps, I can't remember ever using these either! £3 plus £2 p+p

Finally some swirly stamps, two sets one is Basic Grey and I think the others are Autumn Leaves. £5 plus £2 p+p.

I'm Back!

I'm back!! Scrapping has been such a passion of mine for so long I can hardly believe that the last page I created was way back in October.....that is until this week! To be honest part of me was worried about trying to scrap again in case I had forgotten how to do it or found that I just couldn't do it anymore. I have been off work for a few weeks after an op and kept looking at my mountain of paper but felt absolutely no inspiration or motivation until this week when I finally took the plunge and cut into some of my all time favourite papers.
I think these Websters Pages ranges are Websters at their best, Ladies and Gents and Country Estate. I bought two collection packs of both because I loved them so much!
I had a great time cutting out all the elements and layering them up on this page and then added this super cute photo of little Amelie taken last September.

I cut the daisies and little butterflies out of the Perfect Motifs Pad, the larger butterfly has been scanned from an old Websters paper, I think it was from the Botanical Christmas range, and then reproduced in lots of different sizes. They are so useful, I have used them so much.

I have bought my first lot of stash since October too.......not scrapping has saved me a small fortune! lol I can't wait to get my pizza box of goodies and get more time to play.
Thank you for popping by and fingers crossed normal service has now resumed!

Still Here!

I can't believe it has been a whole month since I did a blog post, life just seems to be getting busier and busier! Justin and I had a few weeks time off together at the beginning of October which was lovely and we had some lovely weekends away and day trips but all of that left very little time for any scrapping.
I thought I would share a few layouts that I had published in the September issue of Scrap 365....

I used another photo of Amelie when she was only a few days old.

I love this old photo of my sister, she looks so serious!

Paperarts Tour Bus

This weekend I had the pleasure of joining 50 ladies on the Paperarts Tour Bus in Swindon and what a great weekend we all had. Sue, Rachel and Irene had put together a wonderful weekend with lots of lovely treats for the delegates from cupcakes to fab goodie bags and some amazing classes from Michelle Mogford, Lisa Saunders, Elaine Rolfe, Penny Kafai, Sandi Vincent and Helen Beaton.
I taught three classes and inflicted rather a lot of fussy cutting on the poor ladies, I think a lot of them will be nursing very sore hands today......sorry ladies!
My first class was using some gorgeous Crate Pretty Party papers...

I think this is one of my favourite photos of Rebecca, it was one that I took in June on her birthday.

For my second class I used some gorgeous photos of Amelie, she is such a little cutie.....

These Prima Sunkissed papers are so soft and beautiful just perfect for such a delicate little girl.

For my final class I had to use some Websters, I am still totally loving this Sunday Picnic range...

I have to say a huge thank you to Sue, Rachel and Irene for inviting me to the retreat and to all the ladies for making my weekend such fun, thank you :) xx

A Bit Of News and A Few Pages To Share

I have been really busy with work and life in general lately so don't have much scrapping to share but I can show you a couple of pages that I made a few months ago for a feature in the August edition of Scrap 365, the article focuses on adding edges.

I know that a lot of you know I was redeployed a few months ago and had to go full time, the job is fantastic but it has meant a huge drop in my free time and I was really struggling to fit in my scrapping and getting very stressed about it. I realised I had to make some changes and the only change I could make was to reduce my scrapping commitments. It was such a hard decision to make, one which I struggled over for weeks, but I have resigned from my position on My Creative Scrapbook design team and ATDML. I would like to thank Pam and her amazing team of girls for giving me such an amazing year on the team, Mel and Jill at ATDML for the opportunity to design for their shop and also you, my blog followers, for all the lovely comments you left on my pages. Thank you all so much.
I will still be scrapping but just not as much (you haven't got rid of me all together!) you will still find me in Scrap 365 and I will definitely be checking out all your blogs to see your gorgeous creations.
