Yearly Treat

We went away for a few days earlier this week to stay with my Uncle and Aunty in Gloustershire, we go every year and evey year I treat myself to a trip to Paper Arts which is only about 20 minutes from them. There aren't any scrapbooking stores near to us so all my stash shopping is usually done on line, actually seeing the papers in real life is a real treat. I was very restrained as I know that Sarah has got some gorgeous new stock arriving so I need to save my stash pennies! Echo Park a quite a new manufacturer but I have really liked all of their ranges, I especially like the sheet of alphabet stickers which come in the paper packs. I treated myself to the Life Is Good range and found time yesterday to have a play with it.
I combined the Echo Park papers with some Bazzill basics paper and journalling sticker (another little purchase from Paper Arts!)

I have got another week off so fingers crossed I get some more scrapping time, I took over 500 photos while we were away and have just put in a photo order so I will have lots of new scrapping material!

This is a lovely page, Rachel! I love the way you know how to combine layers and textures - and the way you folded back the ribbon to make a bow (?) is very creative. I might just have stuck it flat!

Gorgeous layout. I love the colours and the layering techniques you've used, and the paper bow is a great little touch.
