Finally Some Scrapping!

I am finally able to share some scrapping with you!  Sarah sent me these gorgeous Pink Paislee Sweetness papers to work with for the shop blog, I had been looking at them for ages but not taken the plunge and bought them. I have to say in real life they are even more gorgeous and so lovely to work with. I love papers which have designs that can be cut out and used to embellish a page.

I created this page as a class for the shop blog, all the details can be found here. I know I have scrapped this photo before but it worked so well with the papers and I really like it so it got scrapped again!

The January Sarah's cards kit has started to arrive at the subscribers so I can share with you what I did with it. The kit was full of gorgeous Fancy Pants Happy Together papers, with some fab coordinating embellishments.

To create this page I added a Prima branch and its packaging and the page of an old book, the photo is of my Grandpa and my Great Aunt Emily.

This page involved lots of hand cutting but I think it was worth it. To create the border around the kraft circle I punched a strip using a Martha Stewart punch and then cut it into small sections and stuck them around the circle.

My final page, I love this photo of the four of us pillow fighting!
My shoulder is getting there slowly although it has been a slower process than I had thought, I guess I am not that patient a patient!! They do say that nurses make the worst patients and I think they are right lol. Thank fully I am managing to do more things but it is frustrating having to keep asking for help and sleeping at night is still a problem. The one saving grace is that I am able to scrap I just have to stand up to do it!

Beautiful pages - I love the all the blues and browns together...and all that hand cutting must have taken lots of times - but totally worth it.
