Prima have released some gorgeous ranges this time around and I decided to use some of their beautiful Natures Garden papers to create this class for A Trip Down Memory Lane. Full class instructions can be found here.
I used another one of my old scanned photos, this one is of my baby Emily who will be 17 in a couple of weeks time!!! Where did the time go?
If you do have a go at the class and don't mind sharing I would love to see your layouts, just leave me a link in the comments box.

Let's Celebrate April's Sketch Challenge
Time for Aprils sketch challenge over on My Creative Sketches, this months sketch is based on a layout created by the very talented Romy, if you haven't checked out her blog it is well worth a visit - Scrapstuff and More. You have got until May 14th to submit your entry, full details can be found over at My Creative Sketches.
I have used some gorgeous Websters Pages Let's Celebrate range, the colours are lovely and images are very versatile too. I also used my new Tim Holtz doily edge die, loving that!
Had fun doing lots of fussy cutting on this one.
I just love this photo of my cousins little boy, Harry, I took it a couple of years ago at a family picnic. He was having a great time flying a little remote controlled helicopter.
Here is Romy's sketch, she is amazing at adding loads of layers to her pages as you can see from the sketch!
and finally here is the amazing prize.
.
I can't wait to see your interpretations of the sketch.

Fussy Cut Chipboard
In the Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook this month there is a packet of gorgeous Prima Songbird chipboard, I especially loved the rose image but I wanted to make it more delicate by cutting off the border which was impossible in its original form so....
I used my craft knife to slice horizontally through the layers of the chipboard.
Once I had made a start with the knife I carefully peeled off the top few layers.
Once I had separate the two layers I was able to cut the border off.
This is what I was left with after I had cut it out.
There is a wealth of tips and techniques over on the forum from all of the design team, definitely worth a look and there are new tips each month.

Country Garden part 2
I am back to share the final pages that I created with this months Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook, the kit is full of gorgeous Bo Bunny Country Garden papers and embellishments.
I took this photo of Rebecca on holiday in France last year, she was sat at the side of the pool dangling her feet in the water and listening to her ipod....totally chilled out.

Country Garden
Happy Easter, I hope you have all had a lovely day and not eaten too many chocolate eggs! I thought I would come and show you the second kit that I got to work on this month. The main kit from My Creative Scrapbook features Bo Bunny Country Garden, it is a gorgeous range with some lovely images and the colours are fab.
For the first page I picked out the soft blue and pink from the papers and combined it with white cardstock, I love the soft, delicate effect that the colour combination creates.
This Martha Stewart around the page punch, Cherished, has to be one of my favourite punches (rivalled only by the butterfly!) it is so versatile.
I added lots of machine stitching to the page to add a bit more colour and interest to the cardstock.
The Country Garden range is packed full of butterflies, very me! This photo was taken last year on one of our many walks around the Island, it is such a beautiful place to live, the views never fail to amaze me.

Beautiful Songbird
I'm back with more pages that I created with this months Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook it is packed full of Prima Songbird, a totally gorgeous range to work with and such beautiful colours!
For my first page I used another scanned image, I cut the photo of my little sister down a lot as I wanted to use a really small image. I'm not sure if she was deep in thought when this photo was taken or was in a bit of a mood, which ever it was it is a really cute photo.
I had great fun fiddling around with lots of tiny little bits on this page, to get more depth I have added curves to a lot of the elements. All I do is cut out the image and then roll it over the handle of one of my scrapping tools, once the curve is there I add it too my page using pin flair glue gel to ensure that the curve is supported and doesn't get flattened.
Another layout using an old photo of me, I can't believe quite how chubby my little cheeks were! I used lots of layers on this page, one of the sheets of paper has got some great journalling blocks printed on it which were perfect for cutting out and then cutting in half to add around the page to create the illusion of more layers.
I sprayed the resist canvas with Studio Calico My Huey's Cameo mist, once it had dried I inked the edges lightly with vintage photo distress ink and the added curves in the same way as I did with the papers.
If you want to see all the amazing creations from the rest of the design team then why not head on over to the DT gallery at My Creative Scrapbook...it is packed full of inspiration!

Early Reveal!
The kits have been revealed early over at My Creative Scrapbook!! I have been absolutely itching to show you the Limited Edition kit, it is beautiful, it features the Prima Songbird range with loads of coordinating embellishments including a whole bag of Prima resist canvas pieces which I have totally fallen in love with, it really is a stunning kit.
I loved these Prima papers, there were so many elements that could be cut out and used, right up my street!
I know I have scrapped this photo before and I know I will use it again but it just went so well with these papers!
I don't usually scrap photos of myself but amongst all the scanned photos of the girls I have been doing I have scanned some old ones of me so thought it was about time I started to use them.
Here is the gorgeous kit.....
I will be back in a few days with more to share.
Thank you so much for taking the time to come and have a little look at my scrapping, your comments are much appreciated :)

Finally!
Sorry for the lack of blog posts this month, life has been really hectic, but I can finally show you a little bit of what I have been up to over the last few weeks!
Last weekend I went to the Sarah's Cards retreat, I was quite nervous about going (silly I know) as it was the first time I went not being on the DT. I needn't have worried, everyone was so lovely and it was great to meet up with everyone again and catch up. What bliss it was to sit and scrap without having to think about anything other than what time was food being served! As usual I was a very slow scrapper and only managed to complete two pages in the two days my lovely table companion Debbie couldn't quite come to terms with the fact that the page I started on Friday night didn't get anything stuck down on it until nearly Saturday lunch time and she was on about her 9th page!!! It is all the fiddling about that I love though and I could spend hours just tweaking this and adding that :)
Anyway I have been busy scrapping, all be it a bit slowly, and I can share with you a few sneak peeks of this months amazing kits from My Creative Scrapbook. The big reveal will be on the 5th April....
The Limited Edition Kit....
I totally LOVED this kit and can't wait for you to see the whole thing, it was such a joy to work with!
