Thank goodness the sun has finally put in an appearance! We have had four days of wet, foggy days typical when Justin and I are off on holiday with the girls. I guess the up side has been I have had lots of scrapping time.
I really enjoyed creating this page, I definitely find it more pleasurable to scrap using more subtle colours and creating vintage type layouts. I took this photo of Rebecca on a recent day out to Monkey World and I just warmed it up on Picasa (the sum total of my editing skills!!) I loved the effect it created and meant the photo went so well with these My Minds Eye and Prima papers.

I bought a Cricut last year as I really needed one (as wth all my stash and tools!!) but I have to admit that I have hardly used it, however I have used it on this page for cutting the swirls and the word dream (does that make it a worthy purchase?)
One of my favourite paper ranges at the moment is the Girls Paperie, the alpha tiles come from their Paper Girl collection and are just fab.

I just love these little Tim Holtz pins, they are so cute I bought these at Ally Pally in April but this is the first time I have used one. I raised the photo up from the page using a thin piece of chipboard to add extra depth to the layout.
