Flower Power

It seems like such a long time ago that I created this page, back in March I was asked to write an article about using flowers on your scrapbook pages.
When I saw these Prima papers I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them, there were so many parts of the designs that could be cut out and layered up. I bought 3 pieces of the same paper using one as the background paper and then cut out different elements from the others. This was a really simple page to put together but definitley not advised for those who don't like handcutting!! I used to use silicone glue on my pages but had a bit of a problem with one brand in that it soaked through the paper and left a greasy mark on the front. On a thread on UKS someone mentioned pinflair gel and so I gave it a try, I have to say I love love love it!!

My baby turns 13 tomorrow, I can't believe she has grown up so quickly. We are expecting her to wake up with two heads in the morning, hitting the terrible teens. I am hoping that the sun is going to shine for at least part of the day so I can take the now traditional birthday photos in the garden.
I will try and post the rest of my flowery pages over the weekend.
