Thought I would share the rest of the pages that I created for A Trip Down Memory Lane....
I used an old photo of me for this page and more gorgeous Sunday Picnic papers. I wanted to accent the balloons but adding more balloons on top was too much so I decided to stitch around them using the sewing machine. It is a bit wonky but it had the desired effect!
I hadn't used the Palm Beach range before, I don't usually like such themed papers but they were actually really easy to work with. I know I have scrapped this photo before but it was perfect for the papers and I just love it.
I cut the little aeroplane out of the Websters Motifs, it was originally red so I coloured it in using a white pen so that is co-ordinated with the rest of the page.

Its My Birthday....
I can't believe how quickly the last year has gone, it only seems like a couple of months ago I was getting used the idea of being 40 now I have reached the grand old age of 41! I have had a lovely day and have been thoroughly spoilt, of course I have had my camera out so I thought I would share a few of the days snaps....
Emily took some photos for me out in the garden, I love doing these sticker shots every birthday.
Because it was my birthday the girls let me take their photos too..
Emily and Will (her boyfriend) spent the evening yesterday making the most amazing birthday cake, two tiers and covered with Cadbury chocolate and twirl bites!!!
I had to take a photo of this, Emily and Barney studying the Jack Will brochure!
I will be back tomorrow to share some more scrapping.

Today
This month Mel and Jill over at A Trip Down Memory Lane sent me some gorgeous Websters Pages to play with - they know me so well! In my lovely box of goodies I had a combination of Sunday Picnic and Palm Beach, I think the Sunday Picnic range is one of my favourites, the colours and images are just gorgeous.
This page of Amelie was created using Sunday Picnic with lots of fussy cutting, stitching and layering.
I did lots of fussy cutting, layering and stitching...
A kitten update.....Barney has settled in really well and he and Archie (our Border Terrier) are now sort of friends, Barney loves to chew on his feet!
I need to think of a funny caption for this photo!

Introducing The New Addition To Our Family......
SIR BARNEY ELLIOTT
Our cat Scruffy died a few months ago and we felt that now was the right time to look for a new kitten to join the family. Emily gave us ear ache last year trying to persuade us to buy her a little ginger kitten so now that we were in a position to be getting one it had to be ginger......she wanted at least someone else in the family to be ginger!!
He is such a cute little kitten and absolutely adores being cuddled and fussed over. I emptied out one of my lace baskets especially to take some photos of Barney and he was very obliging!
I now have another willing subject to photograph and scrap!

May Challenge
Time for a challenge! This months sketch challenge has just gone live over at My Creative Sketches and as always there is a great prize up for grabs. The deadline for entry is the 14th June so you have got plenty of time to get scrapping. You can find all the details here.
I am really enjoying scrapping the photos of baby Amelie, she is such a little sweetie and is more than happy to pose for photographs! She was about 10 days old in this photo.
I used remnants of the April Limited Edition Kit which was full of Prima Songbird papers which I have totally fallen in love with!
Here is the sketch, it is based on a layout created by the very talented Delaina, you can check out her blog here.
A few close up for you....
I love using lace on my pages and wanted to use it to add some texture to this page, to create the lace circle I cut out the circle (using patterned paper as some of the pattern will show through) and marked in pencil the area that was going to show on the page. I covered that area with double sided tape and starting at the bottom stuck on lengths of lace slightly overlapping them. Once the area was covered I trimmed off the edges and then secured the lace by adding some stitching.
Here is the fab prize that Pam has put together...

17!
Emily turned 17 yesterday, it only seems like yesterday that she entered the world a month early weighing 5lb 10oz....so precious! It was pouring with rain yesterday so I couldn't get my usual photos in the garden but I did get some today....
Her friends have taken her out tonight so they have all been round here getting ready which gave me the perfect opportunity to get a group photo.
They surprised her by organising a stretch hummer for the evening, she was rather excited when she realised what they had done!

Gift Boxes
Pam sent me this months flower kit from My Creative Scrapbook and I decided to create some little gift boxes with some of the flowers and left over papers from the Main and Limited Edition kits.
I had some papermania gift boxes that had been lurking in my stash for way too long so I cut two up to make a template. They were so quick and simple to make but I think they are really cute.
I was really pleased with how these turned out and Rebecca pinched one the day I made them for her friends birthday!

Everyday Poetry
Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE Websters Pages and I was so thrilled when Pam told us that this months Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook was going to feature their gorgeous Everyday Poetry range! Pam teamed the papers up with lots of fab embellishments including Prima flowers, Prima vintage trinkets and a custom designed chipboard birdcage.
For my first page I used my favourite photo of my Grandma which was taken around 1912 when she was just 3 years old. I am totally in love with my Martha Stewart cherished punch at the moment so it got well used on this page along with lots of fussy cutting.
I cut out lots of the little hearts, that are on the back on the paper that the embellisments are stuck onto, and added them around the top of the arch.
My cherished punch got well used on my second page too! To edge my photo I unpicked the Websters Bloomer and machine stitched it in place. I stuck some pieces of scrap cardstock onto the back of the photo to make it sit proud on the layout giving the bloomer room to lay properly on the page.
To pleat the ribbon I simply stitched each pleat into place and tied it off leaving the knot exposed on top.
I took the vintage trinket apart as I just wanted to use the word "Family" on this page, the letters were very easy to separate from the branch and then I simply stitched each letter in place.
I am sure it isn't just me but there are some pages that I create that I just don't feel overly happy with and this is one of them. Never mind, can't like them all I guess.
Here is a photo of the gorgeous kit....
If you want to see what the rest of the design team created then pop on over to the DT gallery at My Creative Scrapbook, they created some stunning pages!!
Thank you for popping by my blog and I really appreciate the comments that you leave.

Spring Jubilee 2
Back with more! Here are the last couple of pages that I created using the Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook.
I used some sequin waste as a stencil to add some interest around the edge of the central design.
