My scraplift of a layout that I fell in love with in SBT
Emily was 14 last Sunday and the section on birthdays which inspired this photo, think it will be an annual shot now!
Emilys friends made her a birthday banner and tied it onto the barrier on the road down from the top of the island, I thought it was such a lovely thing for them to do even though they spelt her surname wrong. lol. Rebecca and I went back and took some photos in true scrapper style!!
Rebecca pointing to the sign!
I did a bit of a photo shoot out in the garden with Rebecca and her best friend Eleanor, they are such a funny pair they are always giggling. I didn't get them to colour co-ordinate honest!!
Yesterday it was the annual plant and craft sale at Pen Castle on the Island, we have never been able to go before but I was desperate to go just to look around the gardens. It used to be a hotel and was then sold to the New Look boss and is now a private home. We often walk past the house on our way to Church Ope cove walking the dog. I wasn't dissappointed, the gardens were amazing, they must have spent an absolute fortune on them and the view was just awesome!! Here are a few of the photos that I took.
At the top of the waterfall overlooking Church Ope cove.
Fancy having a waterfall in your backgarden?
I would so love to be able to sit in my garden and look at this view, I know we are extrememly lucky to have it five minutes from our house.
A little water feature.
When I finished a layout last night I looked around my craft room and it was a scene of devestation!! How do I manage to make such a mess?
A few layouts to show you :)
Loved these photos of Emily and Rebecca, it was the first time that Emily had held Rebecca at home. They aren't the best quality but definitley capture the moment.
I did this layout using my April gogo kit and inspiration from the gogo Academy which is a great idea, only managed to do one of the weeks so far so I have got a bit of catching up to do!
Emily on our trampoline last summer doing her best not to knock out her front teeth.....I hope!
My two darling daughters taken about 7 years apart, I just wanted to capture the changes in them both.
I am starting to do a few more layouts about me, a bit scary but hopefully it will prove interesting in years to come especially for the girls and their children. Only trouble is I usually hate photos of myself so it is a bit limiting.
Right better get on after this mammoth blog session.
